ST-516 is a clear Double-Coated Polyester Splicing Tape with a super aggressive pressure-sensitive adhesive.

Splicing Tapes with these properties is often referred to as "Ugly Tape" due to its ultra high adhesion and unique ability to provide superior quick-stick performance for high-speed splicing applications. In addition to Blue (ST-516) we also offer a highly visible black color (ST-517) with the purpose of easy splice detection by operators. Both tapes are polyester films double-coated with an extremely aggressive pressure-sensitive adhesive for splicing difficult substrates including low-energy surfaces. Their superior overall performance helps reduce costly downtime caused by missed splices.
